I januar 1969 kickstartede CCR deres mest produktive og succesrige år ved at udgive Bayou Country, den første af tre LP'er, der udkom det år.
Bayou Country markerede, at bandet fandt deres egen stil og finpudsede deres karakteristiske lyd. LP'en indeholder hitsinglerne "Proud Mary" og "Born on the Bayou" samt en coverversion af Little Richards "Good Golly Miss Molly." Nu tilgængelig på vinyl i farven Orange Smoke.
