Denne skelsættende samling introduceret generationer af utrolige historier om det mest historisk band inden for musik. Til dets 50-års jubilæum er samlingerne blevet udvidet: 'Red' har 12 ekstra numre, herunder for første gang nogle af George Harrisons tidligste sange og nogle klassiske Beatles-versioner af R&B og rock 'n' roll hits, der var så indflydelsesrige på band. 'Blue' har 9 ekstra numre, inklusive "Blackbird" og "Glass Onion", inklusive den sidste nye Beatles-sang, "Now And Then" for i alt 21 nye tilføjelser, som alle er samlet på den 3. disk, hvilket effektivt skaber en 'ny' LP for hvert sæt.
