Beskrivelse
The pearl of the Sea 2.
Sam and Ea have now lived among the merfolk for seventeen years. It's hard to believe that time has passed so quickly since the great clash between humans and merfolk. The relationship between the two people is still strained, and Sam, now a minister for the merfolk, doubts that things will ever really heal.
One night, the Turtle - the slow freight train that runs between Copenhagen Central Station and the Pearl of the Sea - disappears. The police search begins and Sam discovers an old story about shipwrecks, the lighthouse on Anholt and Christian IV as a child. Maybe there's something here that can help connect seafarers and humans.
Sam and Ea's son, Robin, is first generation mixed race and all he dreams of is growing a big tail like the other kids. He gets into a fight with some classmates and swims far away. But then he notices something is wrong out by the railroad tracks and the old sleeper bottom. It's a matter of life and death. Everything now depends on Robin.
